World's Two Smallest Laptops Arrive in Chile
2005-03-21

Two smallest laptops in the world arrived in Chile, the MicroPC firm said Thursday.

The two laptops, with Celeron and Pentium 4 processors, have a size of 15-by-15 centimeters each and weigh from 860 to 1200 grams.

The laptops can connect with fax machine, CD recorder, DVD player and television, and can be used as "auto-consultation terminal" in sea and land vehicles as well as in all sorts of facilities that require a small-size computer.

The laptops, which sell well in Argentina, also have a great appeal in Chile.

Chile, which adopted a "Digital Agenda" in 2004, has the most advanced technologies of information and communication in Latin America.
