Position requirements:
●General requirements:
○Good oral and written English;
○Good communication skills and team working;
○High sense of responsibility.
●Special skills and knowledge requirements:
○Knowledge and experience of Linux based Content Management Systems;
○Knowledge and experience of the Linux operating system;
○Basic database and SQL knowledge.
●In addition, experience or interest in the following areas is highly desirable:
○Web developer and/or webmaster experience in higher education institutions;
○Experience with Plone/Zope;
○Server clustering and SAN/NAS
Job responsibilities:
○Development and maintenance of the Content Management System (CMS) and other underlying platforms of the university’s Intranet and Extranet web sites;
○Working together with web designers to develop the university’s websites;
○Monitoring and improving the performance of the web sites;
○Monitoring and ensuring the integrity, consistence and security of the sites;
○Developing electronic document process control systems for the University.
○Training other staff members on how to use the content manage system;
○Other duties as assigned by the University.
Conditions of employment which includes holidays and working hours are given in a separate document. Salaries will be in the range of 6,000 – 11,900 RMB Gross per month, and will depend on experience and qualifications. Necessary training will be provided.
