Currently, China has already become one of the most important countries for overseas study by students all over the world, and now, there are approximately 230,000 international students in China. In 2010, China Scholarship Council planed to offer 20,000 quotas of Chinese Government Scholarship for international students to studying in China, which are 2,000 quotas more than 2009. Those worked well and had positive and effective result in 2009, and it is believed that it would be done better in 2010. Chinese Government Scholarship offers different value of scholarship according to study categories. In general, there are scholarships for students studying in programs of Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, Doctoral degree, Chinese language training, General scholar, and Senior scholar. The scholarship is evaluated annually to provide qualified international students exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, fee for laboratory experiment, fee for internship, basic learning materials fee, accommodation (on campus) fee, and given monthly allowance and etc.
