BEIJING – China University and College Admission System (known as Chiwest) has launched its second version on July 4th, 2009. The old online recruitment and application system has seen nearly 18 months of use and testing. Chiwest’s new platform will introduce a new, easier-to-use format for international applicants who want to study in China.

Chiwest has designed its official new version according to market needs and a long period of intensive research. Chiwest users will gain more stable and attentive service. International students and Chinese universities will be able to communicate across borders, language and culture barriers through Chiwest’s website.

More than 2900 applicants from 199 countries have been applying to Chinese universities through Chiwest’s old version by the mid 2009. This is because of a combination of attentive, personalized service, the convenience of their online services and a commitment to satisfying students’ needs. Likewise, Chiwest has partnered with hundreds of Chinese institutions to ensure the best quality service to the international applicants.

Chiwest’s new version has added two new functions-“Quick Guide” and “School Connection”. The “Quick Guide” allow students to find their best suited programs by answering less than four questions. The “School Connection” would automatically send the students study intension to related universities, which allows the admission office to contact the student in person.

According to Chiwest’s CEO, Chiwest will keep progressing to cater the increasing needs from the international applicants around the world. Study in China is truly a click away.
