Heated discussions about humancloning, anthrax and matters of global significance arose from a series of lectures on biology presented by Qinghua University professors to high school students in Beijing.

　　Sponsored by Hainan Yedao (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and the government of Dongcheng District of Beijing, a group of Qinghua professors told some 6,600 high school students about the latest developments of biological research around the world in the past few months.

　　The sponsors also financed the Qinghua "Jinsili Cup" Biology Quiz that involved high school students in the Dongcheng District.
