An exhibition on higher learning institutions of the Russian Federation was held from May 18-19, while over 120 university leaders from China and Russia also met to exchange their views on the development of higher education.

The leaders and representatives came from over 20 Chinese universities and over 30 Russian higher learning institutions.

During the two-day event, the university leaders also shared their views on the development of science and technology as well as the Internet-based schooling.

It is said to be the largest ever Sino-Russian exhibition and meeting on higher education. Some local experts observed that it will promote the cooperation and exchange on higher learning between the two nations.
